A GUIDE TO NEW YORK CITY’S BEST HOTEL RESTAURANTS
By Greg Morabito
Some of New York’s most exciting restaurants are located inside of hotels. These establishments are ideal places for business breakfasts and leisurely lunches, and many of them are great choices for dinner and drinks, too.

MAIALINO
Nick Anderer makes one of the best bowls of bucatini all’Amatriciana in the city, and his pollo al diavolo is really something special, too. Maialino definitely delivers the goods at dinner, but the best time enjoy Danny Meyer’s restaurant in the Gramercy Park Hotel is in the morning. The breakfast menu has fresh baked pastries, pancakes, and cream of wheat, plus hearty egg dishes like a porchetta sandwich topped with two fried eggs. The space gets great light early in the day, and you can see the greenery in Gramercy Park from several parts of the dining room.
