Puerto Rico Relief
Union Square Hospitality Group teamed up with Don Q to support The Food Bank of Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria - $10 per cocktail benefited relief efforts. Together we raised $32,020.
Throughout the month of October, Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG) raised donations to support Banco de Alimentos—The Food Bank of Puerto Rico— provide much-needed food and resources to citizens of Puerto Rico who have been impacted by Hurricane Maria. In partnership with our friends at Puerto Rico-based Don Q, each USHG restaurant is featuring their own take on a “Don Q Puerto Rico Relief” rum cocktail. $10 from each drink sold benefited Banco di Alimentos’s ongoing efforts on the island. We’re grateful to Don Q and to our guests for coming together to support the Puerto Rico community during a time of extraordinary need.

Blue Smoke: A Don Q Añejo Old Fashioned, with mole bitters and nutmeg.
Daily Provisions: Refreshing and bubbly Citrus-ade with Don Q.
Gramercy Tavern: Don Q Añejo Rum, spiced pear liqueur, Rhum Agricole, Velvet Falernum, Manzanilla Sherry, and lemon.
Greenriver: Don Q Añejo Rum, Swedish Punsch, Letherbee Absinthe Brun, Wondermint Schnapps, Jamaican Jerk, and lime.
Maialino: A twist on an island punch with Italian liqueur - Don Q Añejo Rum, Dimmi, lime, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters.
Marta: Don Q Añejo Rum, house made fig liqueur, orgeat, and lime.
North End Grill: A take on the classic daiquiri with aged rum and a little kiss of Islay Scotch - Don Q Añejo Rum, Laphroaig 10 Yr. Single Malt, orgeat, and lime.
Porchlight: Don Q Añejo Rum, ginger, demerara, lime, mint, and bitters.
Studio Cafe: Don Q Añejo Rum, Royal Combier, lemon, and Maraschino.
The Modern: Don Q Añejo Rum, Coconut, lime, aged Cachaça, Green Chartreuse, Falernum, Angostura bitters, and nutmeg.
Union Square Cafe: A swizzle made with Don Q Añejo Rum, ginger, cinnamon, apple cider, and mint.
