Jessica Weiss Joins Maialino Team as New Pastry Chef
 
Maialino is proud to announce that Jessica Weiss has joined the restaurant as Pastry Chef, succeeding the restaurant’s previous Pastry Chef, Rachel Binder, who left Maialino in August to pursue opening her own bakery. Jessica developed a love of baking at an early age, and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts Management from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Jessica has worked in a wide range of settings, including the Apple Pie Bakery Café at the Culinary Institute of America, the prestigious Union League Club of Chicago, and most recently, BBD’s Restaurant in Rocky Point, New York. At Maialino, Jessica looks forward to putting her own spin on the traditional and rustic desserts of Roman cuisine.
